All existing members, previous members and free trial members who wish to enrol for 2026 should do so during our enrolment sessions in January. Our membership is still expanding rapidly and demand for certain courses/activities will be high.
Some courses may become fully booked on the first day of enrolment – please enrol early in order to avoid any disappointment.
In fairness to other members please only enrol in a classroom based course where you can commit to regular attendance.
You will not be eligible to attend courses/activities until you renew your membership. Your name will not appear on attendance lists. Please note course enrolments are annual, previous attendance of a course does not roll over to the following year. It is extremely important that all members of Hastings U3A adhere to the following enrolment schedule.
ONLINE ENROLMENTS will commence 10am – 19th January 2026 (where possible get a friend or family member to assist you if you are not confident). Hastings U3A is extremely short of UMAS trained volunteers so we need more members to help us by using online enrolment. Once enrolled in your courses please make payment via online banking. Ensure that you quote your name and membership number when transferring funds. (Your renewal will not be activated until funds are received in our bank account.)

IN PERSON ENROLMENTS at Bittern Memorial Centre, 105 Hendersons Road, Bittern.
1) Wednesday 21st January 2026 10am to 12.30pm
2) Friday 23rd January 2026 10am to 12.30pm
Owing to increasing bank charges card payments will now be subject to 1.6% fee. Cash is not usually accepted at the Office, however an exception will be made for the two enrolment sessions only. Should you wish to pay by cash after these enrolment sessions it will be necessary for you to take the funds to any Bendigo Bank branch using the above banking information. Your renewal will not be activated until funds are received in our bank account.
In order to speed up the in person enrolment sessions please come prepared – ensure you are aware of:
- A list of courses that you wish to join
- Membership/Subscription fee required
- Please remember to update any changes of contact details
- Ensure we have your Emergency Contact name and number
The enrolment schedule will give everyone the opportunity to renew their membership prior to commencement of Term One, Monday 2nd February 2026. Volunteer members and committee members will be giving up their free time during January to assist you with enrolment, we ask that you reciprocate by adhering to the above enrolment dates.
Please enrol before commencement of term one to ensure the smooth operation of our U3A.
Our Office will also be open on Wednesday 28th January and Friday 30th January for card only payments prior to commencement of term one.
